Project Instructions:Choose a paperback book with a strong spine and remove the covers.

Begin folding the pages, as shown in the Photo 1, at right. First, fold the top right corner toward the spine to form a right angled triangle.
Fold the triangle toward the spine again, as shown in Photo 2.

Make a box out of old Christmas cards!
What You Do:
  1. First, get an old greeting card.
  2. Next, rip it in half at the fold.
  3. Using your ruler, make an "X" on the card by drawing two lines that cross at the center of the card. (see diagram).

4. Fold the edges of all four sides of the paper over to the middle of the cross. (see diagram)

5. Cut the red lines as shown in the diagram.

6. Fold the tabs in to create a box and tape the box together.
7. To create a lid for the box, do the same as above, only instead of folding the edges to the point of the cross, fold them slightly outward so the lid will be larger than the bottom.
DONE!

Make Paper Chains

1. Any square piece of paper.

2. Scissors.

3. Colours.

4. Adhesive.

Step 1: Take a sheet of paper, nine inches square. Fold it diagonally into two. You will get a triangle like the one in the illustration.

Step 2: With the help of scissors, make cuts as shown in the figure. Remember to keep two things in mind:

* The cuts should not reach from one side to the other.

* You should make cuts in alternate directions.

Step 3: Now, open the sheet out flat and make a second one exactly like it but of a different colour.

Step 4: Stick the two sheets together by dabbing some adhesive on the corners.

Step 5: Now, gently draw out the paper by pulling at the centre of both sides.

You will have a nice chain. Make a dozen of these and you can hang them all over.

Paper Candy Cane Craft

These paper candy canes are  activity totally addictive to make. Make a dozen and tie them to a long piece of yarn and hang them in your window or on your tree. They will make your home look  so festive! All you need is white copy paper, ruler, pencil, marker and clear tape.

Cut the paper into a square. The size of your paper determines the size of your candy cane. We made our paper 8 1/2" X 8 1/2". Using a ruler make a red line about 1/8" thick down the edge of two adjacent sides of the square.

Turn the square face down and begin rolling from the corner without red lines

Keep rolling

Fasten corner with a clear piece of tape

Wrap about 3 inches of one end of the paper tube around a pencil

Unroll

Adjust top and trim off any extra paper on the top and bottom

Cute and Simple!
